Water slide fun, and motorcycle riding
Ryan got to shoot his bow for the first time this year!
This will have to be a quick post, because I'm watching kids today so I'm sure I'll only have a few minutes before I have to run and break up a fight. It has been busy busy. On Sunday The morning was busy finishing up fathers day gifts, making breakfast in bed for Ryan (his favorite- french toast, bacon, eggs, and fruit), getting my lessen ready for primary, getting dinner ready to take to a new mom, getting things ready to take to dinner at Ryan's mom after church, getting the kids dressed for church, and then by that time it had looked like a tornado touched down on the house, so we did a quick clean up before running out of the door for church. I've decided to get everything ready on Saturday night from now on because Sundays are always so stressful for me in the mornings, and the house gets so messy when I'm not keeping on top of the messes as they are made. After church, we went and took a few pictures at the park, and then we did a scavenger hunt that I made for Ryan and the boys called "Why we love you" Had clues that said things like " it says tick tock, and rhymes with Rock, when they found the clock they would find a treat like now and laters with a note saying "You always make time for us to now, and later, we love you!". They all loved it, and at the end they had found a whole stash of treats. After the scavenger hunt, we went to Ryan's Mom's house for a BBQ, and some fun.
Yesterday I worked all day, and was happy that Joey was pretty good for the 9 hours we were stuck in that hot office. Today we have a house full again, and I think we're heading to the park, everyone needs a little fresh air. Right now I have 5 kids sitting under the desk by my feet fighting about who is hogging all of the space. I must have a magnet in my legs that attracts everyone to me because, wherever I go, they all follow. If this post makes no sense, it's because It's too loud to think.

I seriously can't believe all that you do. Watching extra kids all the time, making extra dinners, and making life so wonderful for your own family. Sounds like an awesome Father's Day weekend - love the park pics in the matching shirts. You have so many boys!
were doing great were at grandma's house in idaho we just got done doing the water slide
That would be so fun to photograph your family in the Fall. The colors are so gorgeous then and you're smart to do it in Oct. rather than later when everyone is scrambling for a session. Last year I did a couple sessions a week before Christmas and the families frantically trying to get the pics from me and get out Christmas cards in time.
Jacey's shoot will be really cute. Kids have that natural beauty that shine through, no matter what they're wearing. Thanks so much for referring her.
cute matchy-matchy blue! i love to imagine all five under the desk. such is life, but it is good!
Liz you're amazing!
How awesome! I'm so excited about your blog and I love how you "say it like it is." I read too many blogs where everything is happy and wonderful and I end up thinking "why are my kids not perfect like all these others seem to be?". Are you guys building a cabin? That looks great.
Wow, I'm tired just reading your blog! Thanks for the fun morning at "the beach!" The kids loved it!
I did have a question about one of your earlier posts: What is the Huck Finn thing that you went to?
Anyway, I'm glad we made the blogging connection!
