Joey and Danny-all smiles
Davy and Oaklie riding bikes
Joey loved the water-'till it was nap time
I know I'm posting a ton of pictures, but pictures say more than words!
I can't believe it is Friday already. It has been a busy week-thus the shortage on time for blogging. Jacey and I were switching off days running the office, since Ryan's dad is on vacation. I survived the 9 hour days in the hot office, and Joey did surprisingly well. I watched Jacey's kids on Tuesday and Thursday ,which always turns into all of the surrounding neighbor hood kids also, I think kids see a group of other kids, and think it must be a party or something. I don't mind too much, they all play well together. Oaklie spent the night last night, and wanted to stay again tonight. We have had a fun day. We woke up, went to a few garage sales where the kids eagerly got to choose a couple toys. Garage sales are the best. You can spend .25 on a toy that the kids love for a few days, and then if it grows old, toss it! After the garage sales, we went to the park where I overheard 2 Argentinian ladies chatting over Mate' . I enjoyed talking too them, it turned out they were from "La Plata", which is an area that I served in on my Mission. It brought back a lot of memories speaking in Spanish again. It also helped with with some ideas for my talk on Sunday about testimonies ( we have to speak in Sacrament meeting). After the park, we headed up to the "beach" to meet some friends. Julie, Weston, and Olivia were great company as we basked in the sun, and savored the cool water. I could sit on the beach all day, and be as happy as can be- I LOVE IT! The boys even got in the water up to their shoulders and pretended to swim. They have come a long way from the Water chickens that they were last year. After the beach Davy had a birthday party, and so the rest of us went on a bike ride until we decided that it was just too hot to be outside, so we hurried home to find the ice cream waiting so patiently for us in the freezer. When Davy got home from the party, we made dinner, and then went on yet another bike ride. Danny couldn't be happier than when he cruises along on his trike-unless he gets passed by his brother. It has been a fun day, I even got a nice tan from being outside all day. I'm going to clean the house tonight, and get things ready to go to the beach in the morning so that we can enjoy another day of Sun. We hope everyone is well! Did I mention....I love Summer!

Sorry we didn't make it this morning, I didn't check my blog until this afternoon! Hope you had fun!!!!
I'm so glad you guys do cool stuff. I've been sleeping all day due to a major migraine. I'm doing better now (I can actually open my eyes. YAY!) I'm pretty glad I don't have to teach tomorrow or else my lesson would be way less than par. I can't wait to see you all tomorrow. You guys make me happy =)
Ahh dangit about the dresser! I ran to the grocery store this morning and forgot my phone. Later I saw that you had called around 8am (haven't listened to the msg yet - I am terrible with my phone) and thought - "Oh no, Liz must have found a dresser for me!" You are such a good friend.
Jacey's pics are really cute. I am still wading through them so it might not be until Monday. I'm sure she is busting with anticipation!
Which neighbor kids do you have nearby that play a lot? We have Allison Beal next door who is a regular - and then Kaden and Brynley Baird (Jacoy's kids) who are here CONSTANTLY. Neighbor kids are a trial and a blessing. Good luck with your talk in Church!
I'd have to say that you have a pretty amazing life. Marae & I were talking about how your boys yell for you and what amazing huggers they are.
How did your talk go? I bet, fantastic.
yeah it was Leslie's youngest. Poor kid and poor mama. He's doing better now.
