Davy getting ready to ride, and Joey-getting ready to walk
Danny showing us his HUGE muscles!
This morning, Davy asked if we could to some garage sales because he had some money saved up and wanted to look for a star wars toy. He was so excited to find a little OB1 Kanobie (I have no idea how that is spelled). It was like a magic 8 ball that you shake up and an answer appears on the bottom of the toy. I told him how you play with it, and he then he asked it "OB1, will I learn how to ride a two wheel bike today?" The answer on the bottom said "May the force be with you." He was so excited that OB1 was going to help him learn to ride a bike. On the way home from the garage sale, we went and picked up Davy's friend Seth to play over for the day. Soon after we got home we had to go and practice riding. He did pretty good (even though he was so mad at me for letting go so that I could show him that he was doing it). His friend Seth did great also. Not much more excitement went on today. Ryan is fishing tonight, and the rest of us will probably go on a quick walk before the kids go to bed.

Ryan's birthday sign we colored for him, and Sage with her stolen ball
Thursday I watched Oaklie and Kendall. It was also Ryan's 31st Birthday. We didn't do much. I made him his favorite Cinnamon Rolls for breakfast, and his favorite oatmeal raisin cookies (which I've been eating way too many of) for a surprise when he came home from work. After Oaklie and Kendall went home, we went in search for a birthday present for Ryan. His friend Mike called and asked if he wanted to go fly fishing on Friday night, so we went to update his fishing box. Ryan hasn't been fly fishing in a while so we went to the hunting store to get a few things for him to tie some new flies. His birthday present wasn't too exciting since he picked the things out himself, but I told him his biggest birthday present is that I never have complained about him going hunting, golfing, playing sports, or buying expensive hunting equipment, or whatever he wants. He said he'd take that every year for his present since he often tells me of some of his friends wives getting mad about those kinds of things. After shopping we went to Los Hermanos for Dinner. They have yummy food, and the best fried Ice Cream around! It was funny, after we left Davy kept saying that we went to Mexico for Ryan's birthday instead of a Mexican Restaurant ( I wish we went to Mexico!). When we got home, I put the kids to bed and then went to Walmart to get a few things since I was bringing dinner to a friend who just had a baby. (I Walmart! Why is it that you can go just needing a few things, and then leave $75 later......every time!!!! I try to only go once a month). After unloading the groceries I closed the garage door, thinking that the dog was in the back. In the morning when I opened the garage door she was there waiting to come in with 4 new balls that she had found around the neighborhood during the night.

Did you guys do the Huck Finn thing today? My kids would have loved it - but we don't have any poles. They only go fishing with their uncle (Jed's younger bro).
We were out hunting down a few garage sales this morning too! The one I really wanted to go to had advertised they were selling bunkbeds, but they postponed the sale due to the rain I guess.
How CUTE about the OB1 toy!! I can't believe Davy is already riding his two-wheeler - at only 4 years old - wow! Will learned right before he turned 5 and I thought that was early.
Did you get to see Amy's baby?! (I assume that is who you took dinner into...)
That is definitely the best present you could give Ryan - to let him do all those fun things. You are such an awesome wife. We love going to Los Hermanos - so yummy.
We just got back from the ward bbq an hour ago at the Eldredge's. You should have come!
