Ryan surprised me with a Mystery Date. I guess he got the idea a long time ago, and was good at not letting me know about it. He told me a couple days ago that we were going out on Wednesday night, and that he already had the babysitter arranged. I am bad with surprises, so I asked him several times for some kind of clue, but he held strong. I figured it out a couple of hours before we left (I searched the history on the computer for any clues of searches for tickets etc-I know I should have just enjoyed the surprise but I wouldn't have known to wear my sparkley belt that is made for just these types of occasions!) When I found out it was the Carrie Underwood concert I was SO excited. I haven't been to a good concert it about 8 years. We had great seats, she was great, and it was fun to have a night out with Ryan. What a good sport he was! There was only about 1 guy for every 50 s, but he was a good sport. He is so great! He works so hard, is a great Husband and Dad, and still has time to think of nice things to do for me. I am one lucky Gal-Thanks Ryan!

oh i am so very jealous!
sounds so fun, was she good live?
What a fun surprise! Glad you had such a good time.
WOW-what a great surprise! I don't like surprises either. I always know what I'm getting for Christmas, part of that may be because mom just leaves things laying around.
Those doughnuts look professional. Great work.
We expect a concert from you when we come. We just found some family videos of you, in one you were rocking out with a portable piano. Maybe we can bring some videos.
You are so lucky! I admit I'm jealous. ;)
your lucky day-
yesterday we assembled a brown paper bag full of lizzy clothes & the goods. See you soon.
We have eaten all the lindt balls but will definitely need to take a break from driving today if we see target along the roadside.
How fun! That was definitely very thoughtful of him! Glad you had fun!
WTG Ryan!!
That was so nice!!
What a good husband! I used to be a lot like you -- I even called The Shane Company to try to find out about Paul possibly ordering a ring. Isn't that horrible? He won't let me live it down. (To his credit, he was still able to surprise me. :)
So glad you got a night away and had so much fun.
i cant believe you guys made all that food for the primary workers!! that is amazing. too bad about all the crying. it always ends that way - it's like us moms just expect it! i agree about naptime and bedtime. total bliss and essential for us to recharge for another day.
what a fun time cooking with davy. the only way for my kids not to whine is if i spend every single moment doing stuff with them. im glad i figured out the "secret" to perfect kids -- too bad it's not realistic.
way to go ryan on the concert!! what a fabulous date. im way impressed with him on that one.
you always amaze me with all the kids you can juggle, doing preschool, etc. i think you're destined to have 10 of your own :)
so cool you come through the tilley-howland line too! i would love to see which branch you split from. i'll have to post mine. probably 1/3 of america is in there somewhere :)
How fun for you. Surprises are great but half the fun is trying to guess what the surprise is, right? ;-)
