Busy Tuesday!

My computer puts the pictures in code so I can't leave comments under them easily. The kitchen is one that Ryan installed today, and the rest of the pictures are from preschool today.

I love those busy yet fulfilling days. This morning we had preschool at our house. Our topic was Indians in honor of Thanksgiving. We learned all about where they lived, what they ate, the clothes they wore, how they got there food, what they did for fun etc. We made an "Indian feast". We cooked up some deer meat, some corn cakes, and had fruits and veggies. We made Indian vests, jewelry, and headdresses. The boys each made up their own Indian name. They loved playing "Indians", and we all had a good time. After preschool, I cleaned up the huge mess we all had made, and ran a few errands. When we came home I did 6 loads of laundry, cleaned every room in the house, made rolls, and beef stew for dinner, took the kids on a walk, gave them all baths, read them stories, got them to sleep, and even had time to read a little bit after all the laundry was folded. Tuesdays are my "get it done" day. The rest of the week we can take it easy.

You are truly amazing. All of the boys looked so cute, but you forgot that you painted all of their faces. I thought that was super cute. Way to go-super woman!!!

Anita just found out that we have a little more indian blood in us then we thought. It turns out that our 6th great grandma was full blooded indian. Maybe that's why you did such an authentic portrayal of the Indians.
See you soon.
