Camping trip

What a picture perfect back drop! Nature is the best!

Davy's pet worm "slimy"

After getting his pants wet in the lake, Davy hiked back to camp in his unders!

After Danny poured dirt in Joey's playpen!

Davy and I loved playing in the cool mountain lake!

Our little Fisherman Davy

We just got home from a weekend in the Uinta mountains. We met friends (Mike, Britta, Ashlin, Kristin, Drew, and Brent) up there and we all had a great time. It was VERY DUSTY. The kids were filthy dirty, the mosquitoes were horrible, but in spite of it all, we loved the scenery, the company, and the yummy fish. We hiked up to a lake for fishing, went four wheeler riding, and the guys shot their bows. I was glad to have a trailer. Little Joey was glad for the tub that was much needed at least twice a day. We enjoyed the heater at night, and the protection from the bugs. My favorite part of getting home was giving all of the kids a nice hot bath. We are all sun burned, and exhausted, but it was truly a trip to remember. We hope to get a few more of those trips in this summer. Camping is the best time for pictures. The backdrop couldn't be better! I love the outdoors! I would love to just stay there all summer long-I guess we have to come back to the real world sometime.

That looks/sounds so fun - and definitely better with a trailer when you have kids! I swear I'm never sleeping on the ground in a tent again. Hopefully we'll be able to get a trailer one of these days. We'll need it with 3 boys like you guys. Gorgeous pictures. I love how adventurous you are.

I wish Bryce was even a little bit interested in the outdoors. I grew up riding motorcycles, camping, hunting, fishing, water skiing and all that fun outdoor stuff. Bryce did too, but he loathed every moment of it. You guys are so cute!
