Jumping Jacks

my mommas boys

Danny is such a good big brother!

Today was a good day. Davy and Danny played in the backyard before Davy went to preschool. Davy came in with his hands full of beautiful flowers (which were actually weeds). He gave me a hug and said "happy mothers day Mom". I guess I won't tell him that mothers day is only once a year. I think I'll milk it as long as I can:).
After Davy came home from preschool we went over to Jumpin' Jacks ( an indoor bounce house, with huge inflatable slides, and bounce toys). Davy tends to make a new friend everywhere we go. Today it was a little 2 year old , and her mom. He is very social, and fun.
After dinner Grandpa George, and Grandma Jan came for a quick visit. We need to have them over more often. We are glad that Grandma Jan has recovered well. She looks as good as ever now. Danny and Joey were asleep by 7:00pm, and now Davy is sitting with Ryan asking him all about Star Wars. Ryan sure is a good Dad. He teaches the boys a lot, and is a lot of fun. We are so thankful for all that we have, and the blessings that we have been given.
I have been trying to take time each day and think of the simple pleasures in life, and not rush so much. Some things we love are; walks to the park, reading together, Popsicles, blowing dandelions, playing air guitar in the car, sidewalk chalk, swings, making dinner together, and of course going to jumpin' jacks. I love days like today where I can be with my boys, and enjoy the little things.
