There hasn't been much to blog about but the stress of the holidays mixed with the craziness of organizing the new primary year is over so I can take a deep breath and relax for a minute (only because it is 11:30 and the kids are all asleep).
We had a fun new years eve. It was also Ryan and my anniversary. We are big party poopers when it comes to doing anything fun or creative. We decided that we should do something, so we took the kids to his Dad's house and he took the whole day off. We went to our favorite restaurant P.F. Chang's and ate way too much, then we did some errands and shopping. Later that night we went to our friends house for a night of games and food. We were even out later than midnight-can you believe it! I can't believe it has already been 6 years since we were married. Time has flown by. I have been so lucky to have a great partner in this crazy adventure of parenthood. Ryan is a great dad, and he does so much for our family. We all love him. I can only hope that the next six years will go by so smoothly. We have never had a fight-or even a disagreement. I think we are both very easy going, and don't make anything into a big deal that doesn't need to be. I am grateful that he is so considerate. Here is to another great year!
I have been thinking of New Year Resolutions today (Is it legal to set them after the official day?) I need to make a list in hopes that they will get accomplished. One thing I know for sure, is that I want to be more positive and energetic about life, and enjoy each day. Each day with my kids, my husband, my friends, my church calling, is so special, I to think that it is all easily taken for granted. I'll get to work on that list.........tomorrow. For now I will enjoy this great moment of peace:)
