It's get 'er done day!

I love Tuesdays because I feel like I get so much done. It was a major cleaning, cooking and friend day for us here at the Jensen house. Davy had 2 friends over today, and preschool, so that was a busy day for him. Danny had his first play date today also. He always is stuck playing with Davy's friends, but today he wanted his own friend to come and play. Ty is his church buddy. It is the only way he will go to Sunbeams (can you believe my Danny is in Sunbeams now) is if Ty is there. Last week in sharing time it was so cute, Danny shared a chair with Ty with his arm around him. Danny and Ty had a busy day. They played playdough, ate lunch, jumped on Danny's bed, played hide and seek, trains, and even put on a rock concert for us along with Davy and his friends. They played so well together. Sometimes Danny doesn't like to share with Davy so I worried how he would be with a friend. They didn't fight over one thing. When they were playing play dough Danny handed about 8 colors to Ty individually and said "Ty, here's blue, don't mix it. Ty here's red, don't mix it. Ty, here's white, don't mix it......etc" I came up from switching the laundry and they both had a huge ball of mixed playdough. I guess they decided it was prettier mixed. Danny has been asking all night when Ty can come back. He is getting too big. Speeking of big, Joey now thinks he has to walk down the stairs like everyone else. He is quiet skilled at it for being barely one, but it scares me every time. He also only wants to drink out of a regular cup, and wants to sit up on the bar stools like his brothers do. I've got to stop letting him play with my cell phone too. He always calls people wich especially is not good at 6:30 am, or if it is 911. That boy loves cell phones-what am I in for?
Other than play day, I got the house cleaned (which is always just temporary), 6 loads of laundry washed and folded, my visiting teaching interview done, movies returned, and lots of cooking done. We made homemade yogurt, granola bars, pizza, and a yummy oriental salad with toasted sugar glazed almonds that Elise taught me how to make. One of my new year resolutions is to make more foods from scratch, and to feed my kids healthier. Davy says that the homemade yogurt is "yummier" than the stores yogurt. I guess the trick is to get them used to it while they are young and impressionable:) WELL, I'M READY TO CALL IT A NIGHT!

Question of the day: Does anyone else realize that some days they are even too busy to pee? I realized that I had to urgently pee for like 4 hours but never got a chance to go. This is a common thing for me.

Ty has such a great time! You were so nice to take him for so long! Once we get the sickies out of our house we will have to have Danny over. Ty would love it!! I cant believe you got all of that done!!! Wow!!!

Wow! I did part of my laundry and thought I had a good day. My house NEVER gets cleaned ... although things do get picked up here and there.

I'd love a good yogurt recipe since my kids love it. Although once someone told me how to make it and it sounded long and drawn-out ... Anyway, Shayla would love to have more ho-gurt.

Try to stay away from black. I'm not sure exactly about the background yet. I know we will try a few with my big black background and then a few with the rustic walls and beams. I'm "making" my little family dress in denim (Kaja in a denim skirt) and white long sleeved tee's. I'm also going to bring a change of shirt for my kids. Well, Aiden's brown, blue and green striped sweater and Kaja's green turtleneck that matches it. I have colored backdrops as well but am not sure if I'm going to use them yet. I have brown, white, green and pink... Sheesh I can only imagine this shoot taking all night.
