who doesn't love a big cotton candy?

Yesterday Ryan's Mom had her famous annual Summer party. Her theme this year was "summer Olympics". We played games, had competitions, played on her big water slide, and ate too much cotton candy. The kids all had a blast. I think all Danny ate all day was cotton candy. He woke up in the night crying about a stomach ache. We made sure to feed him plenty of healthy food today to help make up for the day of treats.
We haven't done much this week. Davy has been into schoolwork a lot this week. You can often find him doing his "homework" from his school books, or reading a book. He loves to learn. It has been nice to stay home a lot this week to spend time doing something constructive. I have been busy the past couple days doing Primary projects. I am glad to be done with everything.
We met some friends at the reservoir on Wednesday, after we took Joey to his 9 month check up. Today we met Ryan's mom and Sister up at the reservoir along with all of the cousins for some swimming fun. They all enjoyed cooling off in the water. Someone that Jacey knew was there with a giant slip and slide that they set up on the sloped cement side of the water. They had a generator pumping water up to the sprinkler at the top. They invited all of the kids to play on it with them, and that was the hit of the day.
