Another week has passed thus we are one week closer to the change of seasons. It will be a sad farewell to summer, but at least we get to enjoy the fall season before we are thrown into the depths of winter. Today we went to the beach, I hope it won't be our last visit there, but we had to go just in case we didn't get another chance this year. It was heaven, we had the whole beach to ourselves. We took one of Davy's friends with us, and they all enjoyed the warm sand, and the cool water. About half an hour before we came home, a couple of little s came with their mom. I got to save one of the little s from drowning when she ventured out a little too deep without a life jacket on. We have been so blessed to have a fun place for the kids to play this summer, while avoiding the big crowds of the public pools. We also checked out the new park above the reservoir, it has such a pretty view. On Wednesday I went to the temple with the primary presidency. It was the first time I have gone without Ryan since we were married. It was nice to sit in the celestial room by myself and really have time to ponder and pray (not that I don't enjoy going with Ryan also). We have been getting ready for school to start next week. It will be my week to teach so I've been thinking of fun things to do for the first week of school. Joey has been a little under the weather with a fever the last couple of days. We look forward to him feeling better, we miss his contagious smile, and his independence from needing to be held all day. Nothing too exciting to report, just life as we know it.
