Same ol'

Davy on his camping trip with Ryan. Below is Ashley at her party!

Davy and Danny after church

Cousins relaxing on the hammock and Davy at the Basketball game.

SUCH A HAPPY BABY!

Base ball fun! Ryan has been playing ball with the boys.

Boys love their toys!

I haven't done any new posts this week because it seemed like the week was same ol' same ol'. As I looked at the pictures of my camera I decided that same ol' is still better than nothing, so I thought I'd share.
Monday I worked, Tuesday we went over to my friend Sheila's house who is a hairdresser. She invited us (me and the kids) to come for lunch and to play while she cut my hair. It was a lot of fun, and I got my hair cut at the same time (that's my kind of hairdresser). On Wednesday we enjoyed a big beach party up at the reservoir. Ryan's mom, 4 sisters, step mom, most of the cousins, and a few of my friends with their kids showed up. It was a bit overcast but they all had a blast as usual. It was nice having Ryan's family there to help with Joey because I was able to swim across the reservoir with Ryan's little sister which I had wanted to do all summer. I forgot my camera (later to find out it was just in my car) so I didn't get what would have been some great pictures. Davy and Danny claimed a couple of giant dump trucks that one of the boys brought. They spent about 2 hours pushing those things down the ramp into the water. They were well occupied, and had a blast. Later that night we went to Ryan's basketball tournament. They played a really good team, and the whole first half of the game they were behind by 6 'till Ryan scored a three pointer, then turned around and stole the ball and made another three pointer right after the first. That caught them up, and the rest of the game was so close. Ryan's team ended up winning by just a couple of points. Thursday I watched Jacey's kids, and then we went up to his little sister Ashely's 13 birthday party.
Friday the boys wanted to go to a few garage sales "to get a new toy". I was glad that we went because I found a brand new Magic bullet blender thing that are on the info-mercials for $5.00. I had always wanted to get one but didn't want to pay the $60 plus outrageous shipping. It has been fun to play with. I also found Davy a brand new (tags still on) pair of cute Airwalk skater shoes, in just his size for $2. and a new play pen for $5.00, and a bunch of other things like p.j's for the boys for .25 cents, and new jeans for Danny and Davy for like .75 cents. I wonder, who would sell new things soooo cheap? It is like a game for me to find the best deals. Its not that we can't afford to buy clothes and toys new for the kids (and I still buy them new clothes a lot) but who would want to when you can find them so cheap? They love being able to get whatever toy they want (as long as it is not big, and have a lot of pieces that I'll have to pick up a million times), and when I get sick of a toy, or if we get too many, I can just get rid of them with out any guilt of how much I spent on it. I will be sad when winter comes, and garage sales go. On Saturday, my friend Amy wanted to go to some garage sales but we didn't find anything good. I guess they are hit and miss.
Ryan took Davy with him on Friday to take the trailer up where we go on the Archery hunt. Davy had a great time with his dad, and they saw tons of big bucks. Ryan is excited to hopefully shoot a big one this year. today we went to Ryan's mom's house house after church for dinner. She made a Thanksgiving spread. It was so yummy, and we all came how too full. I went on a walk with my friend Amy when we got home to walk it off. This week will be a little busier. I have got to get preschool curriculum planned for our co-op preschool. We have 6 boys in our group. They are all ready for school to start again. We will be praying for my dad who goes in for open heart surgery to replace a valve next Monday.
