Disneyland 2009

We had a great time at Disneyland this year. It was our best trip so far. The car ride was great, and we didn't have any whining the whole trip. We knew we better take the time to go this summer since next summer we'll have a little baby and won't want to go on any big trips. (for those of you who haven't heard, we are expecting a baby in February-we are hoping for a girl this time) I was most excited to go because Danny is exactly 40 inches tall (which is how tall you have to be to ride most all of the big rides). He was so brave and was willing to try all of the rides (even tower of terror). He admitted that he didn't like most of them, especially ones that had big drops in the dark, but he was a great sport. The boys all loved soarin' over California, and splash mountain the best. We took Ryan's 12 year old sister with us, because she and Davy play great together. She was a good helper in keeping him from wondering off. We spent a day at the beach, which everyone loved. The waved at Lagoona beach were about 10 ft tall, and the kids loved jumping over the waves as they rolled into the beach. We stayed at a nice hotel that had a full hot breakfast of every breakfast food you could imagine. It was nice to fill up in the mornings before going to the park. Ryan's mom, and sister, and her kids came also. It was fun for the kids to stay in the same hotel and be able to swim together at night when we come back to the hotel for dinner. We all had a great trip. I am so glad we went. We are thinking our next trip to Disneyland will be when Joey is 40 inches tall so that he can go on all of the rides too. He didn't like being left out of a lot of the fun.
