Our first day at the beach!

Today was a gorgeous day! After Davy was done with Preschool, we decided to pack a lunch and head up to the "beach" for an afternoon of playing in the sand. I couldn't find all of our sand toys, but the boys loved the cool water, and playing in the sand. I just loved the warm sun! I look forward to many more afternoons at the "beach". When we got home, I got out all of the summer clothes, and packed up all of the winter clothes. I just hope it doesn't snow again. Tonight we went to Ryan's Mom's house to help in the garden. We have been working on a big garden with her. The boys love getting all muddy. It was a great spring day!

Looks like tons of fun. I am glad that you are getting some gardening experience too.

It is such a pain to rotate clothes, huh?!? I had no clue ... I've still got to do that, but I'm holding out for that last cold day.

Hopefully we'll see you at the beach this summer. I'm determined to get my boys unafraid of water!

Sure looks like fun! We're trying our hands at a garden this year also. Wish we had the pleasure of some expertise to help us out... just praying things will grow :)I was actually hoping to do the same thing that you're doing with your mother in law with your mom... only they moved unfortunately!

yes that's the book! sometimes i swear you are my twin. let's haul our families out to the woods and get us a barn! haha. ive been telling jed for some time now that i want to raise chickens and i'll need a big piece of property.

let me know if you remember the name of the latest book by that author -- or i'll just go look when we head down to the library again. i go through books so fast - it's my addiction (rather than evening tv).

Ok, a couple posts to catch up on:

First of all I love your new background and LOVE the picture at the top. What a great way to capture their sweet little spirits!

Looks like you've been up to plenty of other fun things! I look forward to the end of the month and our zoo adventure. I've also been hoping we could get together for a girls' night out in the next couple weeks. Do you have time? Let me know!
