Today was a great day. I was getting ready to take the kids on a walk this morning, and as usual Joey wanted to ride his bike (I usually don't let him on long walks because he hadn't mastered the art of peddling too well). I noticed that he was getting the hang of it pretty well so I let him ride his bike. He did so well considering the training wheels were not touching the ground. He fell several times but never cried. he would just get back on his bike and keep going. He is so tough. We rode about 2 miles and he wanted to keep going. Needles to say we went on several bike rides today. He is so happy to get to ride a bike instead of sit in the stroller. After dinner I asked Ryan to take of Danny's training wheels because I knew he was ready to ride a two wheeler, sure enough on his first try he took off riding. He is a great bike rider especially for being only 4. he can already stand up while he rides. He is soo proud of himself. He tried to call all of his grandmas to tell them the good news, but none of them answered. He can't wait to show off his new skills.

Tell Danny "Way to be!" from all of us! I still remember the day I learned to ride without training wheels. That's a big day in a kids life!
Can he teach my Zachary? He's too chicken to even try, and he's 7!!! It's killing me ...
Send him over. Heidi asked if I'd teach Adaline. We can have a party of it. It's pretty easy on a little bike-it's not so scary for them.
