Blessing Day

We'll have to do a reenactment of Jacobs blessing day to get some picture of him. It was a busy morning getting ready for church, and then he slept all day after the blessing, we just didn't get a good picture of him in his blessing outfit. Ryan gave a great blessing. and afterwards we had a big lunch over at Ryan's mom's house. My parent's, Sister Elise, and Grandma all came, along with about 20 of Ryan's family. I made Chicken fettuccine with bacon, and artichoke hearts, and lots of cheese, over penne pasta, french bread, salad, and a strawberry shortcake with cheesecake topping. It was a nice day, but I'm glad it is over. Cooking food for so many people can get stressful. Jacob is such a sweet, good baby. I love when I get a chance to just lay in bed and hold him. He is a snuggle bug. He loves to go on walks in the front pack. he instantly falls asleep. He loves his brothers (he seems a little cautious about Joey-since he can be a little rough and spontaneous). He'll give anyone a big smile. It make the boys day when they get a big smile from him. We sure love Jacob. We are so blessed to have him in our home.

You seriously never cease to amaze me, Liz! You are such a great Mom! I have to agree with Marae, the picture of him smiling looks a little different than your other boys and I was thinking he looks a little more like you. He's adorable!

He's so cute! I can't believe you cooked all that. I had rolls and lunch meats so people could build their own sandwiches. I should have come to your house instead! ;)
