Ryan was meant to be a farmer. he loves our big garden. Even though he is so busy at work, he still makes time to work in the garden. he has tilled the large garden several times, added top soil, and has bought several new vegetable for us to try to grow. he built a nice grow box with trellace that all of the mellons, tomatoes, and cucumbers will grow up saving a lot of space (not that we lack space-we planted it out at Ryan's Mom's house). We planned sweet corn, blue corn, all sorts of potatoes including sweet potatoes, blue potatoes and red potatoes -they are red all the way through. The boys will love their blue and red mashed potatoes, and fries. We planed cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, peas, beans, green, red, and hot peppers, zucchini, yellow squash, snake gourds, honey dews, cantelope, watermelon, 3 types of squash, spinach, about 30 tomato plants of all kinds, and lots of pumpkins. The kids have loved working in the garden , and it will be fun to see everything grow.
