After hearing the forecast of 80 degree weather in St. George, we decided to go down there for the weekend with Ryan's family. Ryan loved to get to go golfing a lot, I loved my warm morning runs, shopping, laying in the sun, swimming, & hiking. The kids loved swimming, playing in the hot tub, playing for hours in grandma and grandpas back yard with their cousins, blowing bubbles, hiking, and staying up later than usual. Only two of the four days their were hot, but we had a great time. We are grateful to have a close retreat to get away whenever we need...........thanks grandma and grandpa Kelly, we hope we didn't wear you out too much!

Yes, that's very impressive that you were able to take them to the open house and have it be a good experience! I think our little ones are all still too small.
Fun to catch up on your last posts, you sure are doing some fun things! I know what you mean by spring fever!
Speaking of which, Scott and I have talked about tentatively doing the zoo weekend May 29th and 30th. Memorial Day is the 25th. Would that work for you guys? Let me know if another time would work better, or if you'd rather just go camping. We also reserved those two complimentary family suites for Friday night thinking we could maybe hit the aquarium Friday afternoon, go out to dinner, stay the night, and then go to the zoo the next day. But like I said, it's all tentative, and if you'd rather go camping together, that works great too! Let me know.

We were thinking of doing the zoo weekend the weekend after Memorial Day: the 29th and the 30th...Memorial Day weekend is the 22nd-25th. Let me know if that changes your minds at all. I know two big weekends in a row can sometimes be too much: going camping one weekend and then a trip to SLC the next... Either way...

I have been trying to get in good enough shape so I don't kill-over & die at the 5k but the weather has been nasty. The one decent day I ran a mile and was close to death. I don't know if I will be able to do saturday 5k. I'll go running this week to try & get ready if the weather man is wrong & it isn't snowing all week.But I would suggest trying to convince Marae or Ben to run with you.
The marathon is a big reason why now I can't run a 5k without my joints hating me. I'll try running a mock 5k this week and see how that goes cause I really want to see you in R. Simons outfit on race day.
