Davy is turning 5 tomorrow! I can't believe that I have a 5 yr old-crazy! Last Sunday we had his family party at Ryan's mom's house. Davy wanted a Star Wars cake. Ryan helped me (actually he did all of the hard part of cutting and shaping the cake into light savers). Davy has loved Star Wars for the past year so the Star Wars theme party was a lot of fun. Kendall was celebrating her 3rd birthday with Davy last Sunday also. She is getting so big, but don't tell her that. She still says that she's the baby!
Off of the topic: We watched "Facing the Giants" last night as a family. It is a great movie. I believe it is the same producers as "Fireproof". I highly recommend both of those movies. They teach great values, and faith. It made me realize that I need to be more prayerful in all I do. As the movie teaches, I need to praise God when I win, and I need to praise God when I lose. It doesn't matter if things are going our way, there is so much to give thanks for, and so important to continue to have faith.
