After my last post, I realized that I have so much to be grateful for. Sometimes I get tired of doing nothing but staying at home with the kids. It Is however my greatest blessing of all to be able to raise my kids. I love teaching them, and watching them as they grow. It has always been my #1 goal in life to be a great mom, and I'll just say that I'll continue to work at it. They are my biggest trial, but also my greatest blessing. The little things make everything all worth it. I love how Davy will tell me randomly several times a day "Mom , I love you", or "Mom, I love you more than any one in the world, even more than Shanae (the 14 year old that he has a crush on). " He is a tender heart. He is my drama king- but I love that he is so willing to show his emotions. He is also always willing to help with whatever I ask whether it be to run a stinky diaper out to the garbage, or running to get me a new diaper for Joey. Danny loves to be held, and cuddled. He has never been attached to a blankie or a stuffed animal, or a pacifier, but He loves his Chocolate milk, and for me to carry him for a while when he first wakes up- this side of him is nice because he is such a tuff boy, and not afraid of sticking up for what he wants. He gets excited about things easily, and enjoys life, and all it brings. He is such a good brother to little Joey. He watches out for him, and has saved him from several close calls down the stairs. He loves to climb in his crib with him, and always has a hug or a kiss for his baby brother. Joey is lucky to have such great big brothers. They teach him a lot, and definitely entertain him for me. Joey will surely be a smart boy as he grows older. His favorite movie is Leap Frog Letter factory, and it is the only movie since 4 months old that he has wanted to watch. When it comes on he starts saying his sounds. He's got the B,D,G,M, and O sounds down pat. He has taken off walking this week, and actually prefers running. Today I was watching him with Davy's copy of the Book of Mormon. He doesn't tear the pages like he does with other books or magazines, but will sit for long periods of time gently fanning through the pages, and looking at the words. I can tell he already knows that it is a special book, and hope that he will grow to love it as much as I do. The best thing about Joey, that I am truly celebrating is that he has mastered the stairs this past week. I no longer have to fight with keeping the gates up, or rescue him dozens of times each day from his strange fascination of leaning over the edge of the top stair. I can like my house again, and not be determined to move to a one story house, to rid myself of all the stairs that come with a 4 level split. My life seems so much less stressful, and more relaxed knowing that Joey is free to crawl around the house (now we are working on teaching the boys to close the bathroom door, because Joey's other fascination is with the toilet-YUCK!!! I am so grateful for my kids they are such a blessing to me! In this dedication to my boys, I must not leave out the biggest one-Ryan. He is such a hard worker, and tries to make time for us even when he workload is unrealistic. He is so easy to get along with, and is always willing to help out with whatever I need at the time. He is a great guy-which makes me a lucky ! I just need to remember to COUNT MY BLESSINGS EACH AND EVERYDAY!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY sister!
I just wanted to wish you a most wonderful birthday. Marae & I are planning on going to Utah mid-October and were discussing how we would love to babysit your boys for a day or two if you and Ryan wanted to go out.
Thank you for the great example you are and for being a fantastic sister. Love you.
