Davy turned 8 last month! I can't believe we have a boy old enough for baptism already! Davy was so excited to be baptized, and to get to be in scouts. He was baptized on March 3rd. He looked dashing in his new suit, and had lots of relatives come to support him. He sang "I am a Child of God" with his Uncle Ben and sounded so good that the primary president asked him to sing it in primary the next day. He chose to have Root Beer Floats after the baptism which was great for his very pregnant mom to not have to worry about putting on a big lunch afterward. Davy is such a spiritually in tune boy, and knows the importance of choosing the right, and always keeping the spirit with him by saying his prayers and serving others. We are so proud of Davy, and so grateful that he is strong example of righteousness to his younger brothers and sister!
Grandma and Grandpa Lindsey came for Davy's baptism and we were able to keep them here for a whole week. They as usual kept busy the whole time finding anything broken or unorganized in the house to clean or fix. They spent a lot of time with the boys cleaning out the playroom and boxing up several large boxes of toys that were not being played with to sell at a garage sale. Grandpa Lindsey was great to play and read with the boys, and even tackled the messy garage, and organized my food storage. They are such great examples of service and hard work. We sure appreciated their help with the kids, and the house! They watched the kids the night before I had Gracey and were able to stop by the hospital on their way out of town for a quick peek at her.

yay davy!
Congratulations to Davy on his baptism! What a wonderful day to remember.
Also, congratulations on the birth of your little girl! She is absolutely beautiful.
Congratulations again on your beautiful daughter!!!! It was fun to visit in the hospital.
And yes...very hard to believe that Davey is that old. I still remember the first time Scott and I came over for dinner: Danny was a tiny baby asleep in a baby bouncer on the counter. Oh, how time flies! And yet, we feel we haven't aged. ;)
