Elise invited us to come play at the Class ropes course in Provo where she works. We had a blast on the 50 foot swing, climbing rock, canoing, air ball, and the trapeze. I am generally an adrenaline junky, and will do scary things. Having kids however has tamed that side of me considerably. When Elise said that we had to try the Trapeze, I thought it sounded kind of fun. Once I saw Ryan climb up the 40 foot telephone pole and balance on the top as the pole shook, I thought that I would pass on that adventure. He made it look so easy as he jumped about 6 feet out to catch the trapeze. Before we left I decided I had better try it or I'd regret it. Once I got to the top and looked 40 ft down I was having second thoughts about trying to stand on the top of the pole and balance. After a couple of minutes of debating whether to look like a big chicken and climb down, or just to get it over with I was able to stand up and jump. The ground never felt so good but I was glad that I conquered my fear of heights. Davy and Danny especially loved the climbing wall, and the canoes. It was so much fun, I would recommend it for any family, date night, or group outing, my kids all thought it was the best family date we have ever been on.

So scary!!! Glad you conquered the fear and did it anyway. :)
I am getting the butterflies in my stomach just thinking about it. I agree...I was a lot more fun and adventurous before I had kids.
