For thanksgiving this year we made the 9 hour trek across the desert to Nevada to my parents house. They moved there last summer, and so we were excited to see them, and their new house. Most of the family was there, and we missed the few that couldn't make it. My mom worked hard before we got there cooking all of the food for the very large group so that nobody had to work too much while we were there. She even planned a carnival with games, food, face painting etc. She worked way to hard. We all had a blast seeing family, I barely saw Davy and Danny the whole weekend. The kids loved riding the four wheeler, playing in the snow, and just being with their cousins. Besides the long drive (which half of the DVD player didn't work-it made me so thankful for modern technology), it was a great weekend.
