There is something about small towns, with lakes that make me happy. I would love to live in a town like that. We got to go stay in a super nice cabin at Bear lake with some friends. It was our first family trip this summer so I was very excited. It was a short trip but we had a lot of fun. We played at beach, tried some fishing, I got to run some mountain hills, and just relaxed together with friends. We visited the church there on Sunday also. We were surprised at how packed it was. There wasn't a chair left in the building. We were lucky enough to get there early enough to snatch a spot in the young womens room to listen to the talks. The boys did not want to leave, we hope to get to go up there again. It was a fun time!
Also include here are a couple pictures from the 4th of July. I take very many this year. We went to the parade, a BBQ, and then to watch the fireworks at night. I love Independence Day!!!

You have such handsome little boys! I know what you mean about little towns with lakes... sounds so peaceful and relaxing. Thanks for the birthday wishes. Thirty was a little scary, but such is life! Actually, the older I get the more it makes me want to enjoy EACH day because I realize how fast time goes. I think that must have something to do with the whole maturity thing people talk about. I know my view on life is a lot different now then it was 10 years ago. I guess aging isn't so bad as long as wisdom comes with it :)
I haven't been to Bear Lake since I was a teen. Love it there ... except that I was sure there were sharks for some reason ... :)
That looks like so much fun! How was the lake? Was it warm?
Little boys just love sand huh?! What a great weekend!
