Joey's birthday was in October. He turned 4 years old. For his birthday we went to Trafalga with some cousins, and to Mcdonald's play land for dinner (it is about the only time of year that my kids get to go there-when they get to eat at their restaurant of choice for their birthday). I didn't have my camera with me at his family party because Ryan had it with him on a hunting trip, so I didn't get a picture of his cute red stick horse cake. All he wanted for his birthday was a red stick-horse (which his Grandma Crista bought him, along with some very cool cowboy boots) Joey loves to play with friends more than anything else. Joey is very smart, and funny. He likes to keep up with his older brothers. He is the most excited about having a baby sister. He has always loved little girls. He still will take a nap everyday (because the nap fairy leaves him a treat under his pillow), but as soon as he wakes up he is off trying to find a friend to play over. Joey loves to play games on the computer, and play outside. He is such a sweet boy. He has asked me a lot about when I will die lately. He wants to know how old he would be when I die, and where he will live. After much contemplation he asked if he had to have birthdays. When I asked why he wouldn't want birthdays because of all of the fun they are, he told me that he decided that he didn't want anymore birthdays because he didn't want to get older. He knew that if he got older, I would be closer to being older too, and would someday have to die. What a cute boy! You can't help but love Joey. He is so cute, and sweet. He is actively learning what foods are healthy, and has become a great eater at dinner time because he wants to get to be stronger than his big brothers. He likes everyone to feel his muscles after each healthy meal. As we go down the isles at the store he will point out what foods are healthy and which foods are junk. Today while in the bread isle at Walmart he told a lady that had white bread in her cart that she was buying "junky bread", and she should get the dark bread because it was healthy. I will be sad if that cute boy gets any older!
