I was just sitting here with little Jacob asleep on my lap when I looked down to see the cutest grin. I don't know if it was a little gas bubble, or if he is dreaming about how yummy his last meal was. Whatever it is, it makes my heart melt. I love seeing my kids smile or laugh in their sleep. I wish I could see what they are dreaming about.
I am so behind in my blogging. I just haven't found the time/energy to download pictures. I have been suffereing through clogged milk ducts, and very cracked/bleeding nipples that make it torture to nurse, but I'm sticking with it (at least untill I lose those last 20 lbs), and hoping that it doesn't turn into Mastitus. I enjoyed listening to conference, and catching a snooze in between sessions. There is nothing like being spiritually filled while resting in my pj's. I loved the talks about mothers, and the importance of parenthood. I am going to try to take advantage of each moment to teach my boys to be righteous, hard working, and loving-easier said than done sometimes. I've been working on Davy to cut the habit of leaving his clothes and pj's where ever he changes (that drives me crazy!!). We had a nice easter (besides the 5 inches of snow that welcomed us in the morning). I am glad that there are no more "candy holidays" for a long while. I am so ready to get over this constant sweet craving that I have. Davy is on spring break this week, but we don't have any plans yet. Ryan is in his 15 hour day work mode as he tries to finish a big job that will install in a few weeks. If the weather cooperates we'll surely spend a lot of time at the park this week, and hopefully update my blog with some pictures of my growing boys. I was amazed after looking at Ryan's baby book last night how much Jacob looks like Ryan did as a baby-minus the big pokey out ears:) We have loved having a new baby in our home again. It is a lot of work, but brings a lot of love also. WE LOVE YOU JACOB!

So sorry to hear you're having nursing troubles. I hope they end soon so you don't have any more pain!
I also love when newborns smile. I don't always think it's gas. I tend to think they're remembering where they came from. My little Austin smiles EVERY time he's falling asleep. I love it! He and Jacob will surely be buddies. :)
Hope you have a great spring break.
can your boys come play soon!!!!!
You could drop them off & shop or something. They could even spend the night.
Or if it is easier I could come out there. I'd be happy to babysit Saturday night for date night or something.
I am so sorry! I was cracked most of the year that I nursed Halle. I know you're a tough cookie, and a pro at being a mom, but if the cracks don't go away it might be something bacterial. Lansinoh is great, but there's another ointment that's also anti-fungal...works wonders. I can't remember what it's called, but the lactation specialists will know if it get's to that point.
Good for you for sticking with it!
